A studio built by people who were tired of pretty websites that did nothing
We started Velo Code Studio in 2021 because too many businesses were paying agency prices for brochures. Five years later we are a design and engineering team of specialists shipping work that carries commercial weight.
Our story
The studio began with two developers taking on work other agencies had abandoned as too technical for Wix. That reputation stuck. Within a year we were the team people called when a build needed real logic behind it — member portals, quoting engines, booking systems tied to fourteen locations.
As Wix Studio arrived we rebuilt our practice around it: component libraries, deliberate breakpoint design, CMS models that survive contact with a marketing team. Design joined engineering rather than preceding it, and the quality of what we ship changed permanently.
Today we are a full studio — strategy, brand, design, engineering, SEO — but the original principle has not moved. Every decision has to survive one question: does this help the client win more business?
